About The Canyon Bakery
Long-time Topanga resident, Patrice Winter, aka The Angel in Your Kitchen, serves the community fermented, freshly milled, one hundred percent whole grain Bread, Pastries, Pizzas and Delicious food. All grains used by the Canyon Bakery are sourced from sustainable local farms and milled on site.
We wish you love, health, and the opportunity to enjoy Locally Grown, Fermented, Freshly Milled, WholeGrain Breads made right here in your canyon.
Fermented Wholegrain Love
Baked Fresh, Daily.
These breads are all locally grown whole grains, freshly milled by Patrice in the bakery, and then fermented. The only ingredients are sourdough (wholegrain flour, filtered water, salt and wild yeast). The fermentation process eats all of the sugars inherent in the grains and the phytic acid is depleted, so your body can absorb all of the vitamins, minerals and lactobacillus (probiotics).
All our breads, pizzas and buns freeze beautifully, so you can cut them in half, either slice and freeze, or freeze whole.
